Aluminium alloy sheet 3003 H14 is a non-heat-treatable, manganese-based alloy known for excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, and moderate strength. It is widely used in roofing, siding, insulation panels, and food/chemical handling equipment.

 

🔹 Key Properties of 3003 H14

• Composition: ~1.0–1.5% manganese, ~0.12% copper, balance aluminium.
• Temper (H14): Work-hardened, half-hard condition (not heat-treatable).
• Strength: About 20% stronger than pure aluminium (1100 series).
• Corrosion Resistance: Excellent, especially in atmospheric and chemical environments.
• Formability: Good cold formability; easily rolled, spun, or drawn.
• Weldability: Very good; suitable for most conventional welding methods.
• Surface Finish: Available in plain mill finish or stucco embossed sheets.

• Construction: Roofing, siding, profiled building sheets.
• Industrial: Storage tanks, insulation panels, acoustic ceilings.

• Not heat-treatable (strength cannot be increased by heat treatment).
• Lower strength compared to alloys like 5052 or 6061.
